  We were really looking forward to visiting the Tate and paid @ £16 for two adult entries, which we thought was fair enough as it goes towards supporting the arts. We didn't pay for all the exhibit galleries, only 1-10. So glad we didn't pay more! Apart from a handful of skillful and vibrant exhibits, we thought we'd accidentally wandered into a nearby school's craft display. U-bend pipe with a flower sticking out the top? We love art but it sometimes gets to the point where it just takes the biscuit. We were hoping for beautiful canvasses and watercolours due the location but we're sorely disappointed. The best exhibit wad the beach mirror; it prompted us to go to the beach and recover from the Tate!
